A couple of our designers have joined the design team of the World Champion Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2008 Season.  Assuming the role of Program Coordinator is Bryan Harmsen, and George Hester is now the Drill Designer and Visual Coordinator for the corps.  We are thrilled to be associated with a high class organization as the Spartans.  Be sure to go see them at a stadium near you this summer!

There is a plethora of material available about how to approach double strokes in percussion. The purpose of this article is not to replace any commonly used methods and tools, but merely to offer some different perspectives and approaches. The key focus points are feeling strength on the second note of doubles and hearing eighth notes in triplet-based rolls.
