Cory Meals is an up-and-coming drill designer whose work has been performed across the southwestern United States. Working with reknowned drill designer Mitch Rogers, Cory has created successful visual productions for bands of all sizes, types, and ability levels.

Cory began his career in the pageantry arts as a member of The Lake Erie Regiment (94-96), graduating to membership in The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (97-01). Following his age-out, he returned to The Cavaliers as a member of the brass instructional team (02-06). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL. While at there, he worked on both the visual and musical staffs of several Chicago-area marching bands including; Lake Park High School (2000), and Wheaton Warrenville South High School (1998-2001).

He currently serves as the Director of Music and Director of Bands for Waller Independent School District, just northwest of Houston, TX. There he is directly responsible for the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and supervises the remainder of the district instrumental music program. Meals is an active adjudicator and clinician in both the United States and Canada. His professional affiliations include Texas Music Educator's Association and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He is currently a visual designer for Visaudio Designs, and resides with his wife Sarah in Houston, Texas.
